The City of Longview continues its program of water main flushing, working this week in the area between 15th Avenue and the Cowlitz River, working from Ocean Beach Highway to Industrial Way. Work will start at 8 pm and will end at midnight, tonight through Thursday. Advisory signs will be posted in the work area each night. The flushing can stir up sediment that can enter residential plumbing; you should refrain from using water while the flushing is going on, and after they’re done, run water through an outside hose bib or into a bathtub prior to consuming the water or washing clothes.
