A woman is recovering from injuries she received in a car crash reported last night in the 200 block of Fishers Lane. Longview Police say that this happened just before 8:30 pm, when a pickup crashed into a utility pole. The collision knocked the pole down, also bringing down what turned out to be Qwest fiber optic internet lines. A fire hydrant was also damaged in the collision. The woman was a passenger in the pickup, and was taken to St. John Medical Center to get treated for some facial injuries. The driver of the truck was cited for negligent driving.
