The Kelso All-Stars won another game at the 13-15 Babe Ruth World Series in Monticello AR, but it wasn’t enough to move the team into the bracket portion of the tourney. Kelso got by White Hall AR 11-9, with A. J. Golden providing the winning margin through his 2-run HR in the sixth inning. Kelso got to 2-2 in the pool play, but they were eliminated when Bryant AR beat Greenville NC…..Seattle and Boston got rained out yesterday at Fenway Park, and are scheduled for a day-night DH today, but it’s also raining today in Beantown. KLOG coverage is scheduled for 9:30 am and 3 pm…..Seahawks coach Pete Carroll confirms that rookie T Russell Okung has a high ankle sprain, and is out of action until early next month. Carroll says he hopes to have him back in time for SF on September 12.
