The Sheriff’s Office is looking into the reported theft of a large amount of food from the Drug Abuse Prevention Center’s in-patient facility off of South Silver Lake Road, the old Toutle River Boys Ranch. Yesterday afternoon, center officials reported finding that some $3,000 worth of food was missing. Several employees were interviewed, but Deputies say that they’ve found no evidence that any of them were involved in the theft. No other leads have been developed at this time.
