State Troopers say that Chelsea Reid, 28, of Longview is being charged with DUI and speeding after a two-car crash that happened yesterday morning on the off-ramp from I-5 to Tennant Way. The crash took place shortly after 9 am; Troopers say Reid was coming off the southbound freeway, as 56 year-old Gary Rice of Vancouver was westbound on Tennant Way. They say Reid was going too fast, and hit the median barrier. Rice then T-boned Reid’s car, causing her to be ejected. Reid suffered numerous cuts, and was taken to St. John Medical Center for treatment; she was treated and released. They say that Reid was impaired, and will face charges. Rice complained of a stiff neck, but he declined to be transported to the hospital.
