Additional details are coming out in regard to the arrest of Bruce Wayne Albee, 56, who reportedly has admitted to killing his stepfather, Charles Marion Rees, 81, in an argument over beer. It’s now being disclosed that Albee claims to have killed Rees several days ago, and was making plans to dispose of the body. Albee reportedly admitted to the killing Wednesday evening, when he was stopped and questioned in Pacific County, while driving Rees’ car. Pacific County Deputies say that Albee tried to run as they were checking the registration on the car he was driving, and then confessed to killing Rees after he’d been given his rights. Cowlitz County Deputies went to the home that the men shared on Holcomb Acres Road, where they found a body thought to be that of Rees. It’s hoped that the identity can be confirmed at an autopsy that will be conducted on Sunday, along with the cause and manner of death. Albee reportedly says that he was fighting with Rees when the older man fell and hit his head on a table; he then used a piece of rope to strangle him. After dragging the body to a bedroom, he covered it in blankets, and then wrapped it in plastic after it started to smell. Albee was quite agitated at his first court appearance, requiring restraint after he started smashing his head against the bars of the containment area. Albee is now being held without bail on a first-degree murder charge, and is scheduled to be back in court on Tuesday.
