A reward of $10,000 is now being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons who were involved in the tampering discovered Monday along the main rail line between Vancouver and Chehalis. Trains were shut down for several hours on Monday, after tampering was found in a dozen spots along a sixty-mile stretch of tracks, reportedly first found around 11 am on Monday near the Longview Junction. Gus Melonas with Burlington Northern-Santa Fe announced the reward yesterday, also saying that inspections have been stepped up, through both the day and night.
