A woman living up on Pleasant Hill Road says that she was approached by someone who was claiming to be a law enforcement officer; the twist to this incident it that the possible “imposter” is described as an “older woman.” The Pleasant Hill Road resident called the Sheriff’s Office at about 9 am on Tuesday, saying that she was approached as she was pulling into her driveway. The older woman tapped on the caller’s window, and then said that she needed to run the caller’s license plate number, as they were looking for someone who had been displaying a gun up in the Rose Valley area. The 911 caller reported that the older woman didn’t have a uniform, a badge or ID, nor was she wearing a gun. After a little while the older woman drove off in an unmarked white SUV. Deputies say that they have no other information on the older woman; they advised the caller to contact law enforcement immediately if she’s approached again.
