The Port of Kalama is announcing that another new business is moving in, reporting that Bridger Steel plans to lease space at the new Kalama River Industrial Park. Port officials say that Bridger Steel will be the first tenant in the park off of exit 32, leasing 30,000 square feet of office and warehouse space, along with 10,000 square feet of space for loading trucks. They say that Bridger Steel will actually be providing much of the manufactured metal that will be going into the new 110,000 square-foot building, with plans to break ground next month. Officials with Bridger Steel say that this is an ideal location for expanding their operations, to better serve customers in the Pacific Northwest. They hope to have the facility in operation by summer of next year. Bridger Steel is a manufacturer of panel systems for roofing, siding, and interior applications, based out of Bozeman, Montana.
