Douglas Wilson, 82, of Woodland is being charged with passing in a no-passing zone after a two-car crash yesterday afternoon on the Lewis River Highway. State Troopers say that this happened just after 1 pm, as Wilson and Erik Holler, 37, of Woodland were southbound near Butte Hill Road. They say Holler slowed to turn, and Wilson attempted to pass. Wilson hit Holler’s car in the northbound lane; the impact caused that car to roll onto its top. Kathrine Holler, 35, of Woodland was shaken up in the crash, and was taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Washington Medical Center in Vancouver as a precaution. Wilson was injured, but refused treatment. Erik Holler was unhurt. Wilson was cited and released on the scene.
