Posted on 12th May 2014 at 16:06

First-degree assault charges are being filed against David Wilton Barlow, 43, of Kalama, after he allegedly tried to run down another man yesterday in Woodland. The victim in this incident called 911 at about 8:45 am, claiming that Barlow had tried to run over him as he was changing a tire at the Shell station on the Lewis River Highway. The victim says that this apparently stems from a dispute over money that allegedly is owed. Woodland Police went with Sheriff’s Deputies to Barlow’s home on Green Mountain Road, where they claim to have found a damaged vehicle. Barlow was arrested without incident shortly after 4 pm, and is currently being held without bail in the Cowlitz County Jail.
