The Mariners traded CF Austin Jackson to the Cubs for a player-to-be-named later and an international draft slot…..NFL Insider reports that veteran RB Fred Jackson is in Seattle today to possibly sign a deal to be Marshawn Lynch’s back up with the Seahawks. Jackson was cut by the Buffalo Bills on Monday. The Hawks trimmed center Lemuel Jeanpierre from the roster yesterday. Mathis signed a one-year deal with the Denver Broncos.
