Felix Hernandez had a rare bad day as the Cleveland Indians beat the Mariners 9-3 last night. Felix gave up 10 hits and six earned runs in just 3 2/3 innings. The M’s are playing the Indians in a day game today…..The 2A District softball tournament gets underway today in Centralia. R.A. Long plays Aberdeen, Mark Morris takes on Chehalis and Woodland battles Centralia, all at 4 pm. Yesterday, Castle Rock beat Hoquiam, but then lost to Montesano at the 1A District. The Rockets play Ridgefield in a loser out, winner to State game Saturday at 11 am. Kalama was ousted in two games. At the 2B, Toutle Lake upset Pe Ell 4-3 to qualify for State. The Ducks will play for the District title against Adna Saturday at 5 pm.
