Longview Police are still working to identify the suspects involved in a burglary reported yesterday morning at the Highlands Baptist Church. Workers at the church called LPD at about 8:20 yesterday morning, reporting that several items had been stolen. Officers say that it looks like someone forced open a window on the north side of the building, and then stole tool boxes, a drill, a shredder, printer paper and ink cartridges. They also say that the suspects apparently forced their way into the food pantry, stealing some of the items stored in there. It also looks like the suspects tried to pry open the doors leading into the main church, but were unable to get through. No suspects have been identified at this time.
