The first razor clam season of the fall is set for this weekend, with digging allowed on the evening tides tonight and tomorrow at Long Beach, Twin harbors, Copalis and Mocrocks. Tonight’s minus tide is set for about 8:30 pm, while tomorrow night’s tide will be around 9:15 pm. Fish and Wildlife officials say that the best digging starts about an hour or two before that low tide time. The low tides will be at night, so diggers will need to be ready for dark, and possibly rainy conditions. Diggers will also need to have current shellfish licenses, and be sure to observe all of the bag limit restrictions.
