There’s a Community Comedy Night planned for tomorrow evening at Lower Columbia College. The ASLCC is putting on the show, which will feature Sammy Obeid, a Lebanese-American who has taken his double-major in Business and Math from U-C Berkeley and applied that to his comedy, bringing laughter to crowds across the country. Obeid has worked with stars like Robin Williams, Russell Peters and Dana Carvey; he’s also appeared on Conan O’Brien’s show and “America’s Got Talent.” Obeid reportedly has a style that’s described as “intelligent, inspiring and a youthful perspective that reaches all ages.” Tomorrow night’s show at the Rose Center for the Arts is scheduled to start at 7 pm. Admission for community members is five dollars per person; LCC students, faculty and staff can pick up two free tickets with their LCC ID card. Tickets are available at the Student Activities Office in the LCC Student Center, or at the Rose Center box office on the night of the show.
