Local 21 of the International Longshore and Warehouse Union is hosting a “Community Action Movie Night” this evening, going from 6 to 9 pm at the Kelso Theatre Pub. They’ll be showing a documentary called “Bloody Thursday,” detailing the formation of the ILWU back in 1934. The movie runs for about an hour, then will be followed by a slide show of “current events” involving the ILWU. Doors will open at 6 pm for dinner and refreshments, then the show is set to start at 7. Organizers say that they expect to fill all 300 seats at the theatre, so they’re advising that you call ahead with your food order. Find out more by going to the Theatre Pub website, or call 414-9451 to pre-place your pizza order.
