Posted on 30th September 2010 at 08:47

The fall term Community Conversation lectures begin today at Lower Columbia College, with this term’s them being “The Green Earth: Our Playground and Responsibility.” LCC legal studies and humanities instructor Jerry Zimmerman coordinates the Community Conversation series, working with environmental science instructor Louis LaPierre and Director of Instructional Research Wendy Hall to line up speakers. Things kick off today with author Nena Baker coming in; she will present a lecture based on her book called “The Body Toxic.” The free lecture will be held in the Wollenberg Auditorium at the Rose Center for the Arts, starting at noon.
