Council Interviews

Posted on 30th August 2011 at 07:38

The Kelso City Council is holding a special meeting tonight, where they plan to interview the candidates for the open seat on the Council. Four applicants have come forward for the West Kelso seat on the Council, vacated when John Karnofski resigned last month. Tonight’s special meeting starts at 6 pm, where artist Judith Lee, retired businessman Ned Harris, caregiver Kimberly Lefebvre and IT tech Bob Von Roch will be interviewed. All of the interviews will be conducted in open session, then the Council will go into executive session to discuss the qualifications of the candidates. Following that discussion, the Council will return to the open session to make a selection from the four candidates. Tonight’s special meeting is open to the public, but there will be no public involvement in the interview or selection process.
