Didier Vigil

Posted on 16th November 2017 at 08:58

Hundreds gathered last night at R. A. Long High School, taking part in the Candlelight Vigil that was held in honor of Tatum Tootoosis-Didier, a 2016 graduate of the school. She was killed last Friday, when the car she was riding in got hit by a loaded log truck. Her father spoke at last night’s event, saying that “We don’t always get together like this, but when we do, it’s amazing, and it’s about my daughter.” Jeremy Tootoosis-Didier says that he knows that his daughter won’t be coming back, but he’s gratified by the turnout; he’s say that it’s comforting to know that others share in his grief. Attendees fill donation jars, while also sharing memories of the volleyball star. Donations to help the family of Tatum Tootoosis-Didier are still being accepted on youcaring.com.
