A memorial is planned today at St. John Medical Center, honoring Dana Enyeart, the hospital nurse who was shot and killed earlier this month at a home on Ammons Drive. Enyeart was killed along with Bruce Kamp, allegedly shot by Enyeart’s ex-husband, Michael Feeney. The St. John Spiritual Care Department is conducting today’s service, which will start at 4:30 pm in the hospital’s main lobby, with friends and colleagues sharing special memories. The service will also include prayer and song, along with information on the prevalence of domestic violence in our society. The service will then move from the main lobby to the area outside the Emergency Department entrance, where pinwheels will be set up to remember victims of domestic violence. The procession will conclude near the hospital’s main entrance. Feeney is scheduled to be in court this morning in the case, scheduled to be arraigned on charges of first-degree murder and first-degree kidnapping.
