Brittany Jean Roberto, 19, of Roy is heading to the Cowlitz County Jail, after she allegedly used a frying pan as a weapon during an early-morning domestic dispute at a home on Tilla Drive in Kelso. Around 1:45 this morning, a 19 year-old man called 911 from the area of Barnes Elementary School, claiming that he’d been attacked by his ex-girlfriend, and had a wound after being hit in the head with the fry pan. Deputies and Kelso Police responded to the area, and spotted Roberto’s car. She was stopped after a very brief car chase, and was arrested on a charge of second-degree assault. She’s now being held without bail; a three month-old baby was turned over to family members. The victim was treated and released from St. John Medical Center. Deputies say that it looks like a recent breakup may have led to the dispute.
