Law enforcement is still working in the area of the Gee Creek Rest Stop on I-5, trying to find one of “Washington’s Most Wanted” who was suspected of being at that location yesterday afternoon. Around 3:20 yesterday afternoon, the father of Derral Kenneth Mosby, 36, of Mossyrock contacted the State Patrol, reporting that his son was at the rest stop, with a gunshot wound to his leg. The 6-8 Mosby is wanted on multiple felony warrants for robbery and drug possession, and is also known to carry a knife and a pistol. The southbound freeway rest stop was shut down as multiple police agencies and SWAT units converged on the area. The search effort continued until about 7 pm, without success. WSP officials say that they do have information that Mosby had been in that area, zeroing in on his cell phone location; the car that Mosby had been driving was also impounded. Derral Kenneth Mosby is a white male, 6-8 and 220 pounds, with multiple tattoos and a shaved head. If you know where he might be, do not approach him, as he’s considered to be armed and extremely dangerous. Call 911 right away if you know where he might be.
