Longview Police are working to find a vehicle that was involved in a hit-and-run crash that knocked down a couple of poles, and also knocked out power to about 90 Cowlitz PUD customers around the area of 32nd and Hemlock. The crash was reported a few minutes after 7 am, with a utility pole and a metal light pole damaged. A live power line was also brought down, taking people in the immediate area around the crash site off-line. A PUD repair crew is en-route to make repairs. In the meantime, Longview Police are following a trail of fluids, trying to find the vehicle that was involved. So far, that vehicle hasn’t been found, and it’s unclear is anyone was hurt.
