11:30 am update: Today’s rain has also caused delays at the NWAACC baseball tourney at Lower Columbia College. Today’s early games have been washed out, and are now scheduled for this afternoon and evening. The new schedule has Tacoma playing Edmonds in a loser-bracket game at 4:35 pm, followed by Lane and Columbia Basin at 7:35 pm. The quarterfinal games originally scheduled for this afternoon and evening are now scheduled for tomorrow, with Treasure Valley against Chemeketa scheduled for 9:35 am, followed by LCC versus Bellevue at 12:35 pm. Games are currently planned for 4:35 and 7:35 pm, but the teams have yet to be determined.

10 am Update: The Kelso softball opener against Kentlake in the State 4A tourney has been rained out today, and will be rescheduled for tomorrow…..LCC beat Lane 7-2 in the opening round of the NWAACC baseball championships. The Devils take on Bellevue tonight at 7:35 pm in quarterfinal action. Four games are slated today beginning at 9:35 pm…..R.A. Long takes on Selah in the 2A baseball semi-finals tonight at 7 pm. The action is at Yakima County Stadium…..The Mariners return to action tonight in Anaheim against the Angels, KLOG 6:00 pm…..The State tennis and track and field championships begin today. The tennis is at UW in Seattle and the track meets are at Mount Tahoma HS…..Oklahoma beat UW 6-1 in the NCAA softball Super Regionals. Game two of the best of three is tonight.
