The Seahawks came up with a goal line stand in the final seconds to preserve a 14-9 win over the Rams in St. Louis. The Hawks offense struggled mightily, but Russell Wilson was able to throw two TD passes. The Seattle defense held the Rams out of the end zone. The Hawks are now 7-1 and maintain a one game lead over the 49’ers in the NFC West…..Boston beat St. Louis 3-1 to take a 3-2 lead in the World Series. The Red Sox can wrap it up with a win in Boston Wednesday night…..In prep volleyball tonight, R.A. Long is at home against Washougal while Mark Morris travels to Ridgefield. Kelso hosts Columbia River tonight…..In girls soccer, Kelso is at Prairie and RAL at Ridgefield, both at 7 pm…..The NBA season opens tonight. The Blazers begin the season at Phoenix tomorrow.
