An autopsy is being ordered on a 60 year-old Oregon man who apparently suffered some sort of medical problem while delivering a load of hay to a customer near Kelso. Deputies and aid crews were called to the 1500 block of Kool Road at about 5:40 yesterday afternoon, when it was reported that a truck had run into a guard rail. The wife of Jimmie Lee Simmons, 60, of Culver says that they were taking a flatbed trailer load of hay to a customer on Kool Road when he lost consciousness, drifted across the road, and came to rest against the guard rail. CPR was started, and continued as Simmons was taken to St. John Medical Center. He was declared dead at the hospital a short time later. No other injuries or serious damage was reported.
