Two 16 year-old boy are being charged after an incident reported early yesterday morning on Lions Island in Lake Sacajawea Park. Around 3:15 yesterday morning, people living near the lake reported hearing a loud dispute on the island, and that’s when Longview Police contacted the two teens. A field test showed that one had a blood alcohol level of .14. One of the teens is now being charged with MIP, resisting arrest and having an open container in a public park. He was taken to the Juvenile Services Center and booked into custody. The second teen was taken home to his mother, and will be referred to the Prosecutor’s Office on charges of MIP and open container in a public park.
