The Lower Columbia College Art Show opens today in the Art Gallery at the Rose Center for the Arts. The show will feature ceramics, paintings, drawings, photography, pastels, collage and other works. A reception honoring this year’s artists will be held this evening, running from 5 to 7 pm at the Rose Center. In addition, the annual Student League of Independent Potters, or “SLIP Club” pottery sale will be held this weekend, with the sale going on in the upper level of the LCC Art Gallery. The sale will run during today’s reception, then again tomorrow from noon to 5 pm, during the Salal Spring Arts Festival. Admission is free.
