Adea Weismiller, 27, of Castle Rock is recovering from a couple of fractures that she received in a motorcycle crash that happened late yesterday afternoon on I-5 near Kalama. State Troopers say that Weismiller was northbound on the freeway just before 6 pm, when one of her saddle bags came loose around three mile south of Kalama. They say the saddle bag got caught up in the rear wheel of the 2005 Harley, causing her to lose control and go into the median. Weismiller suffered a broken collarbone and a broken shoulder blade in the crash, and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Her condition hasn’t been updated this morning. WSP says that since the crash was caused by a mechanical problem, no charges will be filed.
