Brandon Joe Riojas, 21, of Ariel is under arrest, after he was identified as the man who broke into a home on North Pekin Road in Woodland yesterday morning. Around a quarter to six am, a man called 911, reporting that he’d caught a suspect on his back porch, and was holding him at gunpoint. The suspect reportedly told the man that he was “staying overnight at the house.” At some point, the suspect was able to slip out the back door and ran off. Woodland Police stopped and arrested Riojas at gunpoint in the 1200 block of Goerig Street. He was identified as the suspect, and was booked on a charge of residential burglary. Riojas was also served with a warrant for driving while suspended.
