The second fall razor clam dig opens this evening, with four beaches open for digging this time around. Long Beach, Twin Harbors, Copalis and Mocrocks will all be open for digging on the evening tides, tonight, tomorrow, Sunday and Monday. Twin Harbors will also be open for digging on Tuesday night. Tonight’s low tide is expected just before 7 pm, getting later each night through Tuesday. Tuesday night’s low tide is at 10:40 pm. The lowest tides of the weekend are Saturday and Sunday night. This is the first of two digs that are planned for this month; Fish and Wildlife also plans to open the beaches October 17th through the 22nd. Be sure to have your current shellfish license, dress for the weather, and observe the bag limit rules and regulations.
