State Troopers say that weather conditions contributed to a crash that put Rebecca Dye, 59, of Woodland in the hospital. Just after 4 pm yesterday, Dye was northbound on the freeway near the truck scale house near Ridgefield, when she lost control of her Chevy Corvette during a heavy downpour. Dye suffered a number of injuries in the crash, and was taken to Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital in Vancouver. She’s listed in good condition this morning. Troopers also cited Dye for driving too fast for the conditions.
