A delay in a delivery of road oil may affect Cowlitz County road repairs early this week, but projects will still move ahead. Cowlitz County Public Works says that the delay in the road oil will not allow chip sealing operations that had been planned for today and tomorrow to move ahead. Head Secretary Amy Fillipello says that it’s possible that chip-sealing operations could resume later in the week. Other work will also continue, including the Headquarters Landfill Leachate Transmission Project, working this week in the area of North Pacific and Holcomb Road. The West Side Highway repaving project continues near Beebe Road, and there will also be paving on Old Highway 99 near the Owl Creek Bridge and on the lower end of Rose Valley Road. Striping operations will also proceed on Pinkerton Drive and South Pekin Road near Woodland.
