Seattle poet Susan Rich is today’s special guest; she’ll be involved in a 2 pm writing workshop at the Rose Center for the Arts , titled “The Art of Revision.” At 5:30 pm, Rice will take part in a reading and book signing. Artwork by students will be on display from 12:30 to 4 pm in the lobby of the Rose Center; between 11 am and 4 pm, Digital Audio students will be releasing their new CD. Live performances are planned between 1:15 and 5 pm, and things are capped off with the 6 pm launch party for the 2010 edition of LCC’s award-winning “Salal Review” arts magazine. The SLIP Club pottery sale will also continue from 10 am until 4 pm today. All of the events are centered around the Rose Center for the Arts, and admission is free.
