The Longview School Board holds a regular meeting tonight at 7:30 pm; early on the agenda will be an update and possible action on the Superintendent Search Process. Last week, day-long interviews were conducted with Mike Parker of Hoquiam and Doctor Christian Cutter of Castle Rock, Colorado. The district is in the process of finding a successor to Suzanne Cusick, who is resigning from her position at the end of June. The School Board plans to hold a discussion on the process to date, and could take formal action at tonight’s meeting. The Board held executive sessions to discuss the candidates and their qualifications last week. If they do decide to vote on a new Superintendent tonight, that action will take place in open session.
