Cowlitz County 4H is hosting an open house this evening, where you can find out about being involved with teaching local kids how to sew. Cowlitz County 4H is recruiting Sewing and Textile Volunteers, looking for people who can share their sewing skills with area youth. There’s no cost to take part, with a time commitment of only a couple of hours per week. You do need to be at least 18 years of age, and you’ll have to go through the Cowlitz County WSU 4H screening process. This evening’s Sewing and Textile Volunteer Open House will run from 7 to 8:15 this evening at the Canterbury Gardens on 3rd Avenue in Longview.
