The Vernonia woman who was arrested last August for shooting at family members is pleading “no contest” to charges connected to that incident. In the South County Spotlight, they say that Sally Ann Lee, 58, is entering a plea in connection with the August 21st incident on her property near Vernonia. They say that Lee was intoxicated, and apparently was upset over a property foreclosure. She fired several rounds from a .30-30 rifle in the direction of her brother and several other family members. No one was hit. After being charged with attempted murder and other counts, Lee ended up pleading no contest to menacing and felony unlawful use of a weapon. A sentencing date hasn’t yet been set.
