Posted on 29th May 2015 at 09:09

Mitchell Kyle Davis, 27, of Toledo is in the Lewis County Jail, picked up on charges of robbery, burglary and assault at three locations in Centralia. The Centralia Chronicle says that the incidents took place on Tuesday, starting at the Peppermill Empress Inn. A staff members says that Davis was “acting strangely,” and eventually stole a cell phone from a staff person, pushing her to the floor. When Centralia Police arrived at the motel, a report came in that the neighboring Shell gas station had just been robbed. When they went to the gas station, employees directed officers to a nearby Subway restaurant, where Davis was found hiding in a bathroom. They got the door unlocked, and Davis allegedly bolted through the door and out an employee entrance, knocking a woman to the ground. Officers deployed a Taser and got Davis into custody. He’s now being held in the Lewis County Jail on bail of $150,000. It’s noted that Davis is a veteran of the Iraq War, and has been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder.
