The Cowlitz County Sheriff’s Office is releasing the name of the man that was killed in a one-car crash that took place early yesterday morning east of Castle Rock. The crash happened shortly after 1 am yesterday, in the 100 block of Riverview Drive. A 1992 Acura driven by James Lewis Huffman, 30, of Castle Rock left the road and flipped onto its top. Two 14 year-old boys who received minor injuries in the crash say that Huffman was partially ejected, and died at the scene. It’s noted that Huffman was not wearing a seat belt; Deputies also say that excessive speed and intoxication were factors in the crash. The two teens were treated and released at St. John Medical Center.
