A Kelso woman was arrested last night after she was found prowling the home of her ex-boyfriend. Neighbors in the 200 block of SW 6th Avenue called authorities just before 11 pm last night when they witnessed someone entering a home across the street. The caller informed officers that it could be the girlfriend who was involved in a prior domestic dispute with the resident, where she allegedly stabbed the boyfriend. Police found some blood on the front porch and the kitchen when they arrived, possibly from cuts when the suspect broke a window for entry. Police arrested 32-year-old Amy Erceg at the scene, and after a brief stop at St. John Medical Center to treat cuts, she was taken to the Cowlitz County Jail. Erceg was booked on second degree assault, domestic violence and 3rd degree malicious mischief. She remains in jail pending her first court appearance.
