Robert Madden, 57, of Woodland is undergoing treatment at PeaceHealth Southwest Washington Medical Center in Vancouver, after a collision and rollover that took place early this morning on I-5 northbound. State Troopers say that the crash happened around 2:30 am, a half-mile north of Woodland. They say that Madden rear-ended a semi driven by Ronnie Duvall, 54, of Elma, which then caused him to lose control. The pickup went off the freeway and flipped over, crushing the roof of the truck. Madden was extricated and taken to Vancouver, while Duvall was unhurt. The crash investigation is continuing, and Troopers say that charges are pending.
